I never had to think much of the men and women in our military until a couple years ago, when I started working with multitudes of former military personnel for a work project. While we often had differences of opinion on politics and policy, I did gain a new respect for their dedication, diligence, and the leadership training many of them received. So this article about the salute - it’s interesting. Especially the “do it right or don’t do it at all” kind of attitude about saluting. and yes, it seems President Obama did it quite well.
